This Dorset based division of a large International Company design and develop vehicle management systems involving Control, Information management and Communications development for an International client base. They have a multi-million pound turnover and the backing of being part of a larger group of company's.
They now seek real time software engineers, hardware engineers and technical support engineers based at their Dorset offices to work in small project teams as a technical resource within the company working on developing new and enhancing products for the control and information systems markets.

The salaries for these positions are negotiable, depending on experience, but will probably be in the region £30K+ (Much more for Seniors particularly Technical Specialists with both Hardware & Good Software skills/experience). Proficient in the use of Java real time Visual C++ or C/Assemblers Experience of real time control, Comm's, Signal & Video processing would be an advantage. Knowledge/Skills Able to demonstrate software design skills based on structured techniques eg UML, Yourdon. Able to work to ISO 9001 TickIt standards would be an advantage . Able to use CASE tool and work within a document and version controlled environment. Knowledge of hardware design skills would be an advantage. Must be able to design in a multi-disciplined team environment (team worker with good communication skills) Proficient in the use of PC and be able to use Windows and DOS environments (Word, Excel etc.). New projects will use latest technology and Java development.

This is more than just a programming job so a keen commitment to solving problems at both system and software level is required.
