description: Our clients are looking to expand their software test team with Two Contract Graduate Software / Integration Testers.
Although a small company, they are a world leader in the design of sophisticated radar simulators with excellent prospects for continued growth and profitability. The work requires a broad range of skills and provides an exciting and challenging role within a friendly environment.
The contracts will last 2 to 3 months each and we are looking to start within the next month. They are a List-X defence company and therefore security clearance is required. This can be obtained for British Nationals only.
Each applicant must have at least 3 years experience in the development and testing of complex software systems and must have a good numerate degree.
The successful applicants will be working in a small team testing a variety of Windows/PC based applications for real-time radar simulators. The radar simulators are designed and built in-house, from digital and RF components, for both UK and overseas clients.
They seek people who can pick up knowledge quickly and apply it to the testing of a complex software and hardware system. The applicants will be involved in much more than just software and a keen commitment to understanding and solving problems at both system and software level is required.
A good working knowledge of Windows, MS Visual C/C++ 6.0 and the full software life cycle is necessary, with experience in any of the following would be an advantage:
Software / hardware test and integration, R&D, real-time systems, VxWorks, radar systems, VME and defence projects.
The rates for these positions are negotiable, depending on experience.
