description: Our client is a telecommunications company based in Cambridgeshire. They seek a Systems Administrator to join their team.

You will be responsible for specification, installation and maintenance of the companies Windows 2000 based infrastructures.

The position also involves responsibility for maintaining the external web site for the company as well as developing an Intranet site to include web based applications to reflect the companies internal processes .

ESSENTIAL SKILLS -

Experience with Cisco routers, TCP/IP configuration, Windows 2000 servers and exchange 5.5 or exchange 2000 as well as experience in developing and deploying web based applications.

Experience in any of the following areas: Perl, JavaScript, ASP, Java applets or UNIX system maintenance.
