This world leading communications company based in Hampshire, has been established since c1898.
They employ over 4,000 people across Britain in various disciplines, from Software Development to Marketing.

This dynamic company is expanding once again and seeks a Senior Development Engineer to work as part of the software department providing Clearcase and other build tools support for software developers.

You will need to be degree or HNC/D qualified in Software/Telecommunications/Communications engineering. A proven background in an embedded real-time software development environment. Also 3 years experience of structured software development including code development using ‘C’ is desirable.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Experience of ‘C’ or other structured language, ideally gained within a mobile comms. environment.
ClearCase administration experience of at least one year on either NT or UNIX platforms
ClearCase Multi-Site administration experience of at least one year.
Good analytical problem solving ability.
Understand software build process.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS
Perl scripting.
Understand the Microsoft multiple master domain model.
Appreciate software development lifecycle.
An understanding of GSM would be advantageous.
